The sincerity of the government of Nigeria came into question again on Friday, June
26, 2009 after the Interior Minister, General Godwin Abbe (rtd) informed the nation
that the release of a sick Henry Okah would now depend on consultations with the
dictators and despots ruling Angola and Equatorial Guinea.

The minister also lied when he said Okah traveled to Equatorial Guinea. The fact is
that Mr Henry Okah has never set foot in that country; not even as an airport
transit passenger.

The strategic Okan manifold which controls about 80 percent of Chevron Nigeria
Limited off shore crude oil to its BOP Crude Loading Platform was blown up at about
2045 Hrs on Sunday, June 5, 2009 by Hurricane Moses in Delta state.

As long as the Nigerian government and military JTF has chosen to carry out
kidnappings and arson against innocent communities and individuals, Moses will fight
for them.

The plague of sabotage descended heavily on major Shell and Agip crude trunk lines
in Bayelsa state at about 0200 and 0230 Hrs today, Wednesday, July 8, 2009.

The Agip pipeline which connects the Agip Brass terminal was sabotaged at Nembe
creek while the Shell Nembe creek line was done at Asawo village, all in Bayelsa
state.

interaction with Dr. Chris Ekiyor, president of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) over
the issue of the on-going attacks or government amnesty offer.

We are aware that there are many opportunist groups and individuals that take
advantage of situations such as this to make themselves relevant and line their
pockets by acting as middle men.

MEND has outlined its strategy as far as Hurricane Moses is concerned and when we
choose to have a team speak on our behalf, we will make it public.

The recent appointment of Mr. Timi Alaibe as the Special Adviser to the President
on Niger Delta Affairs by the Nigerian government is a humble and welcome
development that is in line with the two pronged approach of our current campaign
codenamed Hurricane Moses.

With this channel of communication finally opened, MEND will put together it's Aaron
team of frank negotiators to pass our demands and expectations to the President
through Mr. Alaibe, a man we respect and can work with.

MEND does not believe the current amnesty offer is directed at freedom fighters
